We work with national authorities and leading experts across the countries where the EBRD invests to deliver online courses in areas of commercial law and practice to promote professional development and expertise.
Armenia
These programmes led by the EBRD in partnership with the Ministry of Justice, the Centre for Legislation Development and the Judicial Training Academy, include a foundation course on insolvency practice for insolvency practitioners with guidance on best practices and materials which practitioners can apply in their day-to-day professional activities, and an advanced course on Armenian and international insolvency law for judges and insolvency practitioners wishing to increase their knowledge and understanding of the legal aspects of insolvency practice.
Jordan
This programme designed by the EBRD and its team of experts provides legal guidance and tips for female entrepreneurs with a business, from start-ups to well established companies. It also includes advice to female-led businesses wishing to restructure their operations.
Serbia
This programme led by the EBRD in partnership with the Serbian Bankruptcy Supervision Agency provides a comprehensive set of training materials and workbooks tailored for Serbian insolvency practitioners (bankruptcy administrators). It includes comprehensive guidance on ethics and professional conduct, financial skills, and legal requirements for practitioners.
International Insolvency Programme
This programme draws together core content on international insolvency law and practice for a global audience of insolvency professionals: judges, lawyers and insolvency practitioners working in EBRD regions with the aim of advancing general knowledge and practice.
